Cowboy Bud Collins, inventor of the Goodwater Swivel Free System, has loved and worked with horses for almost 50 years.  His first experience with cows was working on one of the biggest cattle operations in the United States.  He learned ranching and wrangling first hand and has been in love with cow horses ever since.  In recent years he has had the luxury of training colts from the weanling stage and has been greatly motivated to go beyond his years of experience and learn FROM the horses.  This had led Bud to design and develop the Swivel Free System that works with a horse's nature instead of against it. 

The concept was so deceptively simple that, at first, Bud didn't think it was possible that no one had thought of it before.  The model he constructed worked just as he imagined.  Incredibly, no one had ever patented such a system until he did and the result is what you now see:  The Goodwater Swivel Free System.
